9 Tips For Selling Your Home

  1. First impressions only happen once! Make the most of yours. Front door need fresh paint? Lawn need a manicure? Flowers need freshening?

  2. A little elbow grease now, pays off in big $$ later! A fresh & clean interior says you care about your home and that it has been well maintained. If your baseboards need a little paint or you've been meaning to touch up that scuffed wall, do it before your buyer sees it so he/she doesn't start deducting $$ off the top of your asking price for redecorating and repairs.

  3. Buyers are looking for space! Clean out any unnecessary items from basements, closets and attics.

  4. Gleaming bathrooms sell homes! Polish, scrub & repair. Touch up grout. Fresh colorful towels, mats & curtains add a lot of appeal.

  5. Today's bedrooms are welcome retreats at day's end. Colorful spreads & curtains add to the ambience you need to create.
    If the walls are bare, add a picture or two to pull the room together. Each room needs to be warm and inviting.

  9. Repair now!!! Sooner than later leaky faucets, electrical outlets that don't work, broken shelves, holes in drywall, or air conditioners that don't cool will have to be repaired. The majority of buyers will have a professional home inspection done on their prospective home. Anything that is determined to be defective can become a major stumbling block in selling your home.
